Ryan Libas began with a simple conviction: that the everyday deserves the same care we usually reserve for occasions. We make Indian ethnic wear — kurtas, sarees, lehengas, dupattas and tunics — for people who want their clothes to feel considered without feeling precious.
Every piece in our collection begins on a loom. We work with weaving clusters across India and choose chanderi, linen blends, silk blends, rayon and cotton for the way they move, breathe and age. Buying closer to the loom means fewer hands between the weaver and you — fairer returns for the people doing the work, and honest pricing for the person wearing it.
Handloom carries small irregularities: a slub in the weave, a hairline shift in a motif, a subtle variation in dye. These are not defects. They are the record of a person at a loom, and they are the reason no two pieces are ever quite identical.
Natural fibres behave differently from synthetics. Colour can vary a little between a screen and daylight, and a first gentle wash often softens a fabric's hand. The care instructions on each product page are written for that specific fabric, and following them is the single best thing you can do for the life of the garment.
If something arrives and it isn't right — the fit, the fabric, the colour — tell us. Our Shipping & Returns policy is written to be used, not survived. And if you would rather ask before you buy, we would much prefer to help you choose well once than sell to you twice.
Questions, feedback, or a request for something we don't make yet? Write to us — we read everything.
